Welcome to the eighth ApertureExpert Live Training session!

What, you missed the last ones? That’s easily fixable with a visit to the Live Training catalog, $2 each and a large HD download :)

This session is the beginning of a deep-dive into Adjustments in Aperture 3. We’ll start with the Exposure and Enhance “bricks”, and move on from there.

Los Angeles: 11:00 am (1100 Saturday June 25)
New York: 2:00 pm (1400)
London: 7:00 pm (1900)
Hong Kong: 2:00 am (0200 Sunday June 26)

NEW! You can now subscribe to the ICAL feed and have reminders built into iCal, Google Calendar, or whatever calendar app you use! (enable auto-refresh when you subscribe or you won’t see the updates)

Please be sure to check your time zone carefully. When you register, you can choose to view the time in your own time zone—which will be more reliable than my calculations above! Please do to ensure you don’t miss out!

Space is limited to just 100 seats—sign up early and read the attendance policy!

Did you miss the earlier sessions? No fear, they’re available here.

Agenda

30 minutes - lesson
15 minutes - Q&A

Questions (Q&A)

Feel free to submit your ON-TOPIC question(s) any time during the session, however they will not be addressed until the Q&A. If you’re thinking of submitting a question, take your time to craft it into a logical, coherent question that I can read live and answer without needing further info. IT’S LIKELY NOT ALL QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED—we simply won’t have time.

If you don’t get your question answered live, feel free to post it in the forum.

Download

Remember, you’re watching this for free, but the paid $2 downloadable version will be available at here at ApertureExpert.tv within 24 hours after the session. Even if you get to watch live, if you enjoyed the session, I’d certainly appreciate the support of buying the download anyway. Naturally you’re under no obligation to do so, but it’ll help keep us “on the air”!

That’s it! Enjoy the session.

This session was excellent, just like the others I have either attended or purchased. Joseph certainly knows the subject matter and makes each learning experience meaningful

This was my first training session and I thought that it was fantastic.
I have been using Aperture since Aperture 2, I have been doing Aperture fairly well since I got a book on it and went thru the lessons. I have been doing even better since I have been visiting the ApertureExpert website.

With this training session I learned why I never had much success with the BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST adjustments (there are better tools to use). I learned how to better use the VIBRANCY and SATURATION tools (and how they work). I got valuable insights on the RECOVERY, BLACK POINT and DEFINITION tools.

Loved the class, as always. It's great to have someone out there doing this type of class.

In the future, I'd love to see a class where you show your work flow from you Ipad to Aperture and back.

Keep it up!

Straight to the point training. I liked it so much that I purchased all back sessions. I'm looking forward for the next one!

Very good lesson on basic adjustments and it brought me again a new workflow as well as some extra tricks I didn't know so far. Every time I watch one of these trainings I feel like I had used Aperture not al all in the last few years. Thank you for these brilliant lessons for a fair price.
