Aperture Inspector was just updated to 1.2 today, which is a free update to all current users.

You should see it update automatically next time you launch. If you don’t see the update, or have any issues after the update, please follow these reset steps to get started again. You may also be prompted to update Adobe Air when you first launch if you haven’t used it in a while, which you’ll need to do.
This update includes these fixes and additions:
- Percentages are now included in camera statistics
- iPhoto has been added as a data source; you can now analyze iPhoto libraries, too!
- 2012 was gone from the date range for some users; it is now back
- Other small bug fixes
Next time you launch Aperture Inspector, you should see this update dialog:

Security Settings to Install/Update
Under Mountain Lion there is a new security setting that by default may not allow you to install or update Aperture Inspector. You should temporarily (or permanently, up to you) set your Security & Privacy System Preferences to allow software from “Anywhere” to be installed.

Bought it now.
Would be nice to have the possibility to go directly to those pictures selected in different modes in Aperture Inspector. I guess it's about sending the filtering from AI to Aperture.

Can't install 1.2 (have 1.11) as it says: Installer misconfigured. I have the privacy setting on permanent install from Anywhere. ???? Help?
I have the same problem as Franz Scheurer above. Also set "allow applications" to "anywhere", but that didn't change anything.

Have you tried the reset steps yet? We are getting reports of issues but not a lot of info back once proposing solutions… please help us to help everyone else, and let us know if a simple reset solves the issue. Thanks!

I'm afraid it didn't work.
I removed the "apertureinspector" files/folders from the two folders mentioned.
Then I launched Aperture Inspector again and it says "A new version of Aperture Inspector has been installed. The library needs to be imported again". I click OK, but I don't continue to the import. Instead I click "Download Now" in the "Update available" box that appears.
After that, it downloads, shuts down the app and up comes the "Application Install" which says: "Sorry, an error has occured. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance".
I made sure that Mac OS X allows for all apps to be run/installed, I have it usually set to App Store and authorized developers.

I sent out new links to everyone who bought it in the past last night, so hopefully a new download will fix it. If you didn't get that, or if that still doesn't work, please let me know.

I didn't receive anything. But I purchased AI a long time ago, December 2010 it seems, so if you only sent out links to those who purchased recently, then maybe that's why.

I don't see a sales record from you for Aperture Inspector — did you buy from MacCreate? If so, forward me your purchase receipt so I can issue you an ApertureExpert installer.
